Embossed Premium Craft Beer Label

Printed on a Lombardi Synchroline flexographic press and also Digitally on a Domino N610i 600DPI press with various UPM Raflatac materials, this job features detailed imagery created with process work and then finished on a Lombardi Digistar press. Finishing operations include detailed embossing and hot stamping. Embossing and hot dies along with the hot stamping foil were provided by Hinderer + Muehlich with foils provided by Kurz. Tactile flat-bed screen printing was used to create a raised effect over the print. The flat-bed screen was manufactured and provided by Schilling Inc. Gloss varnish was applied to finish the label. For the flexo application, the labels were printed at 175-line screen utilizing Sero screening to maximize the contrast of the designs. For the digitally printed labels, the job was output at 1200 DPI on the Domino N610i. Imageworx provided art and pre-press. Cyngient supplied the inks and varnish. Apex International aniloxes were used to provide precise ink densities, and Tesa tapes were utilized to maximize the fidelity of the print. Printing plates were produced at Imageworx on Miraclon Flexcel NX material using PureFlexo screening. The cutting die was provided by Kocher & Beck. This job was inspected and finished on a KOR slitter/inspector/rewinder utilizing BST inspection technology.
